After one listen I like this album and rate it highly. This easily has more prime cuts than Jugulator. While I enjoy Jugulator, this is simply the better of the two new Priest albums. Ripper sounds tougher than Halford. He's bad. The sound remains modern, so I don't think it should date badly as have Point of Entry and British Steel. The sappy ballads I could do without, but when it hits, it hits hard. I like new Judas Priest and don't care what other diehards think of them. They're love it or hate it, which I don't get why because to me it's good by anyone's standard. Quit picking on Ripper and company!
