What ticks us all off is the fact that we keep getting these "remastered" albums with new tracks. You know, I spent my hard earned cash on the original CD release. I tell you honestly, despite a lot of criticism, that DOTF is a fantastic metal album. But I'm not spending my worked-too-hard-for money to buy a "new" album with one extra song. You know what this stuff is? ... Don't fall for it.

DOTF is no "Screaming for Vengeance," which is without a doubt the best album ever recorded, metal or otherwise. But DOTF has its own dark character that grows on you. The album was panned (yeah, they're all panned, aren't they?) by the critics. And a lot of metal fans say that it's a bad album and that it doesn't stand up to "Screaming" or "British Steel." That, sadly, is the truth. But, this one has some real dark gems on it - such as the title track. Sadly, this album was recorded AFTER the band reached, and left, its creative prime. Don't believe me? Go listen to some of the complete schlock on "Turbo." This album is the beginning of the end, and "Turbo" was the sellout...
