"Defenders of the Faith" is a must for any purveyor of heavy metal. This album was one of several my band drew on for cover material in the mid-80's. It sounds great at any volume, but to appreciate the depth and quality of production, a good EQ to bring out the frequencies is most complimentary. Every track is ear-worthy, and you will find yourself doing mental playback all day. I recommend this to any old-school metal head and any kid that wants to know how the Masters did it. A+
