The album that helped propel Judas Priest to a worldwide force in heavy metal. Rock radio staples from years past (and in some cases even today) "Breaking the Law" and "Living After Midnight" are highlights here, as is the anthem like "United" and the equally great "Metal Gods". While "British Steel" is a great album as we all know, the sound is still dated even though the album is supposedly remastered. The bonus tracks aren't anything special either; listen to "Red, White, & Blue" and you can hear why its a bonus track to begin with, while the live version of "Grinder" pales in comparison to to anything off of Priest's "Unleashed in the East" and "Priest...Live" live albums. All in all though, this is still "British Steel", and it is essential to any metalhead's collection.
