Rapid Fire, Metal Gods, Grinder, the list of genre defining tunes goes on. British Steel contains two of Judas Priest's most famous radio hits - Livin' after Midnight and Breaking the Law - but those songs are not really representative of the rest of the tracks. Those two are commercial hard rock radio classics but the songs that changed the direction of the genre are what make this CD one of the seminal works of heavy metal. Excellent rhythm and lead guitar work.
