This live CD covers Iron Maiden Live at Rio the Janeiro in one of the most anticipated performance of the Rock in Rio Festival. The result is an impresive and powerful tour de force that shows how metal can improve with age an experience. The highlight of the show is that the band made up of three guitar players as Adrian Smith returns to the band and plays along with Janick Gers and Adrian Smith for an amazing show of guitar melodies. To top this lineup Bruce Dickinson is also on the bill making this concert an unforgeatable one. The set list is made up of an balance between new and older Maiden tunes and this set is a two CD one so there would be plenty of Maiden music to please fans. I had the chance to see and record this concert on Direct TV and the sound, the stage and the performance were among the best of this Rock festival. During the taping of this concert Bruce Dickinson told the crowd that the concert was being taped for a concert DVD. If the managed to capture the vibe of that evening this DVD promises to deliver the goods!!!.
