So that is it. Bruce has come back to Maiden, as well as Mr. Adrian Smith. However, Maiden doesn't sound like they sounded in the 80's.
This live album is just awesome, however the set list is not that good. I really don't think that songs like "The Sign of the Cross" and "The Clansman" should be in this album. I can't understand why they decided not to play songs like "Futureal" and "Man on the Edge" during their Tour. These songs sound much more maiden than the others. And due to the circumstances (it was a huge festival and the last show of the tour) I think that they should have played "Runnng Free".
In spite of that, it is an awesome album. We have the old songs like "The Trooper", "Iron Maiden", The Number", etc, and also the new ones.
The new ones sond pretty much the same as they do in the studio. They didn't do any kind of improvisation, but they sound good live.
The album was quite well mixed. The quality of the sound is good and clear. But I think they could have done a better job in the booklet. May be some more pictures of the crowd and some pictures of the city. But in the whole it is good.
To sum up, I think this album is worth buying it. If you are a Maiden fan you should buy it.
