Finally, a Maiden live album that does the band justice

Finally, after all these years and a few lackluster live albums, "Rock in Rio" does Iron Maiden's intense live show justice. Recorded at the Rio Rock Festival in front of over 250,000 screaming fans, this double live set is more than worth it's price tag, and is a real treat for longtime Maiden fans. The studio-like production is amazing, and getting to hear the fans attempting to drown out the band during classic songs like "Wickerman", "2 Minutes to Midnight", "The Trooper", "The Evil That Men Do", "Fear of the Dark", "Run to the Hills", and the amazingly performed "Number of the Beast" is another highlight of this set. Although the set list could have been more varied (as much as I enjoyed "Brave New World", there are too many songs from that album on here, also, where is "Flight of Icarus"?), this is still yet another must own for Maiden fans, and is a testament that Iron Maiden is truly one of the greatest and most legendary hard rock/metal bands of all time.
