Iron Maiden continued much in the same vein as Piece of Mind, Maiden still mess around alot in different genres, and this album also give us some instant classics like 2 Minutes to Midnight, Aces High and the epic Rime of the Ancient Mariner. As a whole the album seems wellmade, and solid. There is not much new under the sun though, but why change something you know is working like a charm? The album is classic Iron Maiden, strong, powerful riffs and alot of guitar-rock.
