iron maiden`s powerslave is the greatest heavy metal album ever recorded,plain and simple.from dual guitar harmonies that rival anything done by thin lizzy or status quo,to singing of such a level,that you would swear Bruce Dickinson was a opera singer in another life,this album is perfect.with songs about the battle of britain,egyptian mythology,the prisoner tv show,and the rime of the ancient mariner,only Rush can rival thier intelligence when it comes to writing songs.Steve Harris is the best bass player and song writer in heavy metal bar none.
