Classic Maiden

This album features the first time newcoming drummer Nicko McBrain joined (he replaced Clive Burr). The songs are awesome in this one, but it is McBrain that shines the most.

Listen to "Where Eagles Dare" and you KNOW what I mean. He outdoes himself with his fast-paced drumwork which accompanies Bruce Dickinson's vocals quite well.

"Flight of Icarus" is also a very classic song.

My favorite song, however, is "The Trooper." This fast-paced war song is very exciting and leaves you with a sense of sadness at the end ("without a tear, I draw my parting groan"). It also features some great guitar work by Adrian Smith and Dave Murray.

This is a MUST for any Maiden fan. Fans will get a kick out of Nicko's awesome drumwork, Adrian and Dave's riveting guitars, and (of course) Bruce's vocal talents.
