When great drummer Clive Burr left Iron Maiden the band had attained enough momentum to become huge in spite of this very predictable and boring album. The riffs and drum patterns became more and more predictable since the release of Piece of Mind. Lazy live performances commenced. With commercial success finally achieved, the band lost the incredible power it had gained on its first three releases. Burr's departure from the band was a major setback.
