Put simply, this live album is, in more ways than not, similar to A Real Live Dead One. The only true differences are better sound quality and a greatly reduced tracklist. The only song you get here you don't get on A Real Live Dead One is Wrathchild. The second disc is only six songs long, so it's only about 3/4 long as the previous live release. Originally it was limited edition triple vinyl, but due to strong demand from fans who had never heard it before and wanted to, it was re-released as a standard album with the 1998 and 2002 sets of re-releases. My suggestion? If you want quantity without quality get A Real Live Dead One. If you want quality without quantity get this. If you want both quality and quantity pick up their latest live release, Rock In Rio. Live After Death is the best live Maiden album, but it suffers from the brevity that hurts this release. The choice is yours, but I strongly suggest getting Live After Death and Rock In Rio, and then get either this or A Real Live Dead One, but not both.
