Point 1: Bruce is great in-studio, but he often sounds winded and off-key live. 2: The sound quality has a "distant" feel to it that doesn't match up with Maiden's studio production. 3: "Live After Death's" saving grace--"Phantom of the Opera" from the Hammersmith portion of the new CD set is the Greatest Live Heavy Metal Performance Ever. Period. 4: The cover is the most beautiful Maiden cover ever, which means it's the most beautiful ALBUM cover ever. 5: A Maiden collection isn't complete without this album, which also serves as a physical sort of boundary between Maiden's glory days and their sllightly less successful years.
