This is it, the PINNACLE of Iron Maiden's career. This album cannot be described in words, it must be heard and felt on a very loud level. Maiden's greatest songs off their first four studio albums are spectacular in a live set. Maiden's reign over the metal masses slowly declined after this (future albums just weren't as forceful, maybe even a little commercial and then they lost Bruce). But the power of this album and these songs are what Maiden continues to go back to. Who would want to go to a Maiden concert and not hear 'Number of the Beast, Run to the Hills, Sanctuary, Running Free, or Hallowed be thy Name? If you even have a little interest in Iron Maiden this is the one album to get for an introduction that will blow you away. The only thing better than this album is the video of the show shot in Los Angelas on a Friday night. Hear Bruce explain how the Queen of England used to smoke dope, or how "MTV bands" couldn't sell out a toilet. Ask any Maiden fan, and they'll spend a day telling you how great 'Live After Death' is.
