VH1's "The List" rated Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Metallica as the top three heavy metal bands of all time. My list would remove LZ and place Iron Maiden at #3. This album represents Maiden at their steel shattering peak, and is quite possibly the best heavy metal album of the mid 80's, before the genre would turn campy with the rise of the LA hair metal scene. "Powerslave" and "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" are two of the genre's best.
