probably one of the most amazing metal albums I've ever heard.Just the other day i got this cd after a load of controversy whether i should buy this or 'no prayer for the dying'.as soon as i got home and this cd in the player all my fears were gone.soon i was on the backfoot with the crunching IDES OF MARCH which has probably the best drumming i've ever heard(followed closely by run to the hills) then you get to the angry WRATHCHILD('arry you're the best bassist on the planet) with an amazing bass intro. MURDERS IN THE RUE MORGUE well ,what can i say about thi one,you start off sleepy eyed and soon dave and adrian are half way punching you on the face=amazing song.(love di'anno's voice). ANOTHER LIFE is another good song though repetitive and again for me it's dianno who steals the show. GENGHIS KHAN is ,is.....well..an amazing instrumental(short on words for this one).INNOENT EXILE is also pretty good ,great finishing.KILLERS is also good with amazing guitaring by dave and adrian.PRODIGAL SON an acoustic song is pretty okayish. But for me the last 3 songs steal the show.PURGATORY is probably the most underrated song ever.it starts off really,really fast and then slows down to one of the best choruses i've ever heard.then takes off again in high speed tempo.This song gets my vote for the best song of the album.TWILIGHT ZONE which wasn't included in the original copy of the album(thank heavens it is now)is also an amazing song and Paul(well sung)again takes it away again with his howling vocals. DRIFTER the last song is awesome,with agreat ending by dianno. The thing about this album is that it's recorded like alive album which makes it so good.Overall this is an amazing album and i suggest that if you have noy got it get it right away.
