Let me strart by saying I've been a Maiden fanatic since around 81-82. I've grown-up listening, and collecting Iron Maiden music ever since....They are without any doubt, the greatest Heavy Metal band in history today. Not just because I think so either....This release was a landmark for it's time. It was creepy, and spooky, with a rough edge. It attracted people who were interested in Punk, and ulitmately became a Heavy Metal Classic. Don't be fooled, if you've never heard P. Di'anno sing, don't expect B. Dickinson....They have two very different styles. Paul was brilliant for his day, and I loved his style. He could bring beauty and the beast together like nobody..... Honestly, I don't listen to this as much as "Killers", but I still get goose bumps when I hear it...especially "Strange World". To me, any Heavy Metal Collection is incomplete without Maidens debut. This was where greatness began, and has continued ever since. UP THE IRONS!!!
