It seems that Fear Of The Dark is known as one of Maiden's weakest album, and for good reasons. one of the bad things on the album is Bruce's voice. Bruce's voice sounds quite different on this album, more "husky" and less powerful, which is a bad thing. just listen to Maiden's previous albums which there his voice sounds powerfully amazing, and then listen to his voice on this album and you'll be shocked with the difference. another bad thing this album has to offer is that the guitars are overall less powerful. another bad thing is that this album has lots of fillers. But enough with the bad things, this album has lots of good things too. First of all, this album has one of Nicko's best drumming performers. this album also has Maiden's classics, like "be Quick Or Be Dead", "From Here To Eternity", "Afraid To Shoot Strangers", the great ballad "Wasting Love" and Maiden's most famous song ever - "Fear Of The Dark". "Fear Of The Dark", the song itself, is Maiden's best live song also. so overall it's a decent album, one of Maiden's least best, and i didn't know if i should give this album 3 stars rating or 4 but i went on 4 cause Iron Maiden rulez!! oh by the way, what would you say about the art cover of the album? amazing art cover!!! --This text refers to the Audio CD edition
