Some hate this album, some love it, some think it's so-so. So Adrian left the band and the production isn't the best ever... but for you who hate this album, just imagine that this cd isn't by Maiden, imagine it's by some unknown band and you'll like it. Songs reviews and more (song-by-song reviews are so much fun, aren't they?):1. Be Quick or Be Dead: Good opener, one of Maiden hardest and famous songs. Released as a single. 4/5 2. From Here To Eternity: Holy Smoke part II... melodic and heavy at the same time. Released as a single. 4/5
3. Afraid To Shoot Strangers: the first 3 minutes are almost hypnotizing, then it's go heavy... concidered to be one of Maiden best songs. 5/5 4. Fear Is The Key: DO NOT listen to the bad reviews, this song is G-R-E-A-T! listen to it in the dark, with the headphones on and this song will leave you with a mysterious feeling. Maybe the most underrated song by Maiden. 5/5 5. Childhood's End: Good lyrics. Good music. Good song, even though it sounds like a filler... 4/5 6. Wasting Love: A very different track by Maiden... I really like this song, I think it's really sweet and the lyrics are very mature. 4.5/5 7. The Fugitive: A very good song. Good music. The atmosphere works very well here. one of Maiden's most underrated tunes. 4.5/5 8. Chains of Misery: Sounds like a filler, but it's a very fun song to listen to. A very good filler track. 3.5/5 9. The Apparition: Ask all Iron Maiden fans which song is their worst... 80% of them will say "The Apparition" and I'm one of them... 1/5 10. Judas Be My Guide: Pure heavy metal. Short song, 3:08, but very energetic, with a great catchy chorus and a great solo. 4/5 11. Weekend Warrior: It's cool at the first time you listen to it, but I started to get sick of it real quick. conciders to be one of Maiden's worst tracks... 3/5 12. Fear Of The Dark: One of the best and most famous from Maiden, and maybe one of the best songs ever... 5/5 Average rating of all songs: 4 stars...
