It was said to be a great come back to the eighties. Well, let's see.Wildest Dreams - a lame, souding between rock'n'roll and heavy metal, song. The music sucks, so do the lyrics. Back to the eighties? Yeah, if you mean the gay level of the music. 3/10 Rainmaker - one of the best songs on the album. Short, real heavy sounding song. Should've replaced WD as the opener. Rocks, really. 9/10 No More Lies. Quite good. A typical slow intro, and a predictable explosion at some part. Quite good on gigs. Almost beats TAatG in repetetivnes. 7/10 Montsegur. Heavy. Good. But I've heard many better songs. Much better. And the chorus sounds lame as hell. 6/10 Dance of Death. Oh my gods! The cheesiest Maiden song ever. Sounds like some gay scout song to sing by the fire. Quite heavy at moments though. 4/10 New Frontier. First song written by Nicko. Hopefully the last. 2/10 Gates of Tomorrow. A classic gay rocker from the eighties. 3/10 Paschendale. The band tried to be great by writing a WW I epic. Well, they tried a bit too little. 5/10 Face in the Sand. Oh yeah. Definitely the best song on the album. Heavy, great lyrics, great guitar work! 10/10 Age of Innocence. Same thing as GoT. Sux. 3/10 Journeyman. Quite good. A 100% acoustic song. I like it, though the electric version from the NML EP is much better. 7/10 (album version) Whole album: 5/10. Sux.
