They had the same producer for Brave New World as they did for Dance of Death, i.e., Kevin Shirley. Then the fact that they can come out with this garbled nonsense is a mystery to me. BNW was superbly recorded and should've been the springboard for a product of even superior quality. Instead they went the opposite direction. Seem like they took a cue from Rush which replicated this same travesty both in their latest CD and DVD. No excuses are justifiable and its simply seems that they lack respect for fans and expect us to purchase anything with no thought to the production quality. Well I for one protest and will sell this piece of work at the nearest available opportunity. Oh and for those who would trash this critique out of deference to the band...remember that, unbiased criticism should used as a point of reference for future works. If we don't voice 'em...then we get substandard stuff and we continue to pay the exorbitant prices without the recourse for a refund. The band could'nt care less for the sycofantic ravings of rabid fans - even though they say the do.
