Overall "dance of death" is a disappointing release in a recent string of disappointing albums (with the exception of 'brave new world'). Most are rather repetitive with repeating lyrics. For instance no more lies is just ridiculous, the only lyric in the song seems to be repeated "no more lies." On an up note, the title song "Dance of Death" is an excellent song that starts slow and really heats up. The album is almost worth buying for that alone along with a couple of decent songs.
