In May of 2000, I just graduated from college and found out that Iron Maiden's classic lineup plus Janick Gers reunited with Brave New World. As a result, I had expectations for Brave New World. So I bought the disc because I found out a year earlier that both Adrian Smith and Bruce Dickinson had returned to the band and expanded Maiden into a six piece. The Brave New World album lived up to expectations. The Wickerman, Dream of Mirrors, the title track and Ghost of the Navigator are my favorite tracks on the album. I saw them on this tour and they sold the venue I went to out. This album proves that Iron Maiden was back and they sure meant business.
