Just face it; Bruce Dickenson has always been the best Iron Maiden vocalist! After huge success in the 80's and forging the way of the 'New Wave of British Heavy Metal,' Iron Maiden put out an almost perfect album after the millenium. Brave New World combines songs that sound like they could have been On Powerslave, Somewhere in Time, or Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. The opening track, the Wickerman, is great and the chorus is catchy! Tracks 2 and 3 are great, but the highlight of this cd is the song, Blood Brothers! The song is over 6 minutes long, and the guitar solo is one of the finest that Maiden has done! The next few tracks are good, and the last one is awesome! The Nomad is the only boring song on the cd. If you are new to Iron Maiden, check out Powerslave or Somewhere in Time before this. Iron Maiden contimue to rock, and please see them live! They are up there with a live show that compares to Metallica, the masters of playing live!
