Yeah this is one of the best metal albums ever, a true classic like Carcass' "Heartwork", or At the Gates "Slaughter of the soul". It's an album you can listen to over and over, enjoying each and every track as much as the next. The cover of Depeche Mode's "Everything Counts" is great. DM is my favorite band, and I usually would laugh at bands "trying" to cover them, but for some reason, I love In Flames' version. There is a perfect balance of melody and power on this record, the vocals are good, snarled, but not grating or annoying. Most songs have a traditional Scandanavian folk sound. This is the band that paved the way for others like Dark Tranquility and Soilwork...Excellent
