I bought almost all the In Flames CDs before this one, but this is among my favorites now. Along with "Clayman" and "Colony", "Jester Race" is among the best In Flames releases. Although all In Flames LPs are good, this CD shines as one of the best releases to come out of the Gothenburg metal scene. The best melodic death metal release would be "The Gallery", by Dark Tranquillity, but that is just my opinion. If you are a fan of In Flames, Dark Tranquillity or Soilwork, you should at least listen to this CD. You should buy it if In Flames is one of your favorite bands, as it is one of their better releases. Don't wait as long as I did to get it. Despite the fact that their sound on this CD is less refined than on "Clayman", In Flames has always shined in the world of melodic metal, and this disc is no exception.
