This is not nu-metal. I said it with their new cd and I'll say it again. This is not nu-metal. Ok? It's heavy and a bit brutal, not the kind of style In Flames is famous for. Most of the melodies are very weak, although some of the choruses just reek of something that could've made a 4-5 star cd (Cloud Connected, Trigger). As always, the drumming is great, nice and fast double bass, the guitar work has seriously suffered and as a result has alot of the In Flames sound lost. The bass is pretty good, quite heavy. Vocal-wise, good, not as good as greats such as Whoracle, Anders is....well, his clean vocals are not good, except for when he uses them in choruses.

There's not much to say about this cd, it's pretty good, but is monotonous in places and boring. Also repetitive. Very commercialised sound.
