I'm surprised to see so many positive reviews for this album because I was pretty disappointed when I heard it. I'm not a fan of nu metal and to me, that's what it sounds like. I don't think In flames are selling out or anything like that I think they were simply experimenting. What ruins this album for me is purely the way its been produced. The catchy melodies typical of In Flames are still present but it seems they've been put into the back ground and a thrashy nu metal guitar rhythm overpowers them in the foreground. I find myself straining my ears to hear the real music. Its a bit of a shame really - I think it could have been a really good album. Having said that, the track Metaphor is a little bit different, very interesting and worth checking out.
