i really, really don't like labels.

i listen to a variety a music: everything from radiohead and sigur ros to NIN and kmfdm to dillenger escape plan and between the buried and me. label that.

now, on to this album. absolutely wonderful. i haven't heard anything from their previous albums, but if what the previous reviews say is true, i don't want to. you can keep death metal. it sounds terrible, and no one will be able to convince me otherwise.

the meoldy in this album in the best part, however, the heavy stuff in it is also quite good. i love EVERYTHING the vocalist does. and i am also impressed that a band that plays this style puts electronics in their music.

i'd say...4.8 out of 5. one of the best metal-ish cds i've heard.
