Clayman is yet another In Flames release that proves that they're one of the best bands in the genre of Swedish melodic death metal. The spacey atmospheric vocals of Anders Friden joined with the infectiously catchy harmonized riffs and solos of the guitarists in songs like "Only For The Weak", "Square Nothing", and "Satellites and Astronauts" are enough to make you want to run out and buy every In Flames release. The reason it got 4 stars is because it's not quite as good as Whoracle or Colony, but still shows that they haven't run out of good ideas. It's much better than Reroute To Remain which isn't bad either. This is the perfect In Flames release to buy if you're just getting into the band.
