This (along with with Overkill's Coverkill) has got to be the BEST set of cover's I've ever heard any band do. If you think Iced Earth went about these songs like any other band would-just cover songs, have fun with them-then guess again! This band took these songs and made some of them even heavier than the originals. They didn't butcher them like a lot of bands do, but played them they way they were meant to be played, along with putting on the Iced Earth stamp of blowing your mind ... along with your speakers. All songs on this will have you cranking it so loud on a Saturday night, the neighbors will call the cops. The two that stand out the most to me are the AC/DC covers, and Maiden's Hallowed Be Thy Name. A supreme offering from Iced Earth, not to be missed by any fan. PLAY IT LOUD!
