Iced Earth has always been a band that has redefined metal and Schaffer has always worn his infulences on his sleeve. This combination makes Tribute to the Gods perfect , showcasing IE's marvelous skill with the masters of metal. From the opening drums of " Creatures of the Night" to The blistering solos of "Hallowed be thy Name" It is classic Schaffer and Barlow. They take these metal classics and breathe new life in them.This album must be purchased if you are a fan of Iced Earth, Power Metal or any of the "Gods" on this CD.
