Very good cover album from the old classic rock/metal scene. I am very new to Iced Earth. So far this being my first purchase of their material, I wanted to hear some familiar tunes and see just how Iced Earth could handle it. Excellent job!! They are a convincing metal band that's been around for about a dozen years, frankly I heard about them within the last year. So that how underrated they are, they have kinda made a name for themselves since Metallica started to sing opera music. I'm impressed with the sound, very raw energy that does sound like Iron Maiden with a dash of OLD Metallica. Great stuff. The tunes "Black Sabbath" and "God of Thunder" were my least favorites, simply cause I don't like them to begin with. But Iced Earth does a pimp job the rest of the way. Cool band.
