First, the guy who gave this one star, Barlow didn't get kicked out of the band, he left to work for Homeland Security. Second, Schaffer is not trying to lure Judas Priests fans. Ripper Owens just happened to be picked out of the other candidates. Also, he put a lot of dedication into this music. History has been his passion from age 10. He even owns a history nostalgia store called Spirit of '76. And how is the music loud? Quote Ted Nugent: "If it's too loud, you're too old." The cover of the Star Spangled Banner should be played at every occasion which involves the Star Spangled Banner, such as football games. Best cover I ever heard. Are you kidding?! Two or three riffs! Phooey! This album has more solos in it than all of the previous albums. Even then, the stuff is beautiful. The lyrics...are not bad. They say alot. Especially "When the Eagle Cries." I'm perfectly fine with Ripper's vocals. Greenface shows a perfect example of what he brought to Judas Priest. One-dimensional? Give me a break. They have only made one video, I believe, for the unplugged version of "When the Eagle Cries." Who are you to criticize? The song is meant to be sad. There's more coming, and I'm looking forward to it. What? Have you met Schaffer? I've always heard he's a great guy. I'm going to see them on tour with Children of Bodom soon. Anyway, to the music. Star Spangled Banner- 5/5 Declaration Day- 5/5 When the Eagle Cries- 4/5 The Reckoning (Don't Tread on Me)- 5/5 Greenface- 5/5 Attila- 5/5 Red Baron/Blue Max- 5/5 Hollow Man- ? Valley Forge- 4/5 Waterloo- 4/5 Now, the Gettysburg Trilogy was awesome. It's almost a good an epic as Symphony X's Odyssey. The last part, High Water Mark, really was the climax of the epic. I give it a 5/5. This album gets a 5/5. Anyone else who reads this, don't listen to the guy above me who thinks this is crap. Iced Earth has always been good, and did not let us down in this album. I encourage anyone interested to go out and buy it.
