What can one say about this album? It could be the best album of the year, depending on what you like. Anyways, on this album there is the new iced earth vocalist Tim which was from Judas Priest. Info for people looking to buy this version of this album:Here's what you get with the limited Edition missing on the other versions that I'm aware of: For the USA Fans you get "Waterloo" that was missing from the usa version. For the Europeans you get "Star- Spangled Banner" and "Greenface" that were missing from the european version. And everyone gets the bonus track of "When the Eagle Cries (Unplugged)", which was on "the Reckoning EP". The Album also was made into 2 discs on the limited, though both discs together don't go over 80 minutes. 1. Star-Spangled Banner - Cool sounding intro. Very well done Rock version of the Star- Spangled Banner. . . . 90% 2. Declaration Day - Vocals sound a bit like Dio's. Decent Straight-forward song. . . . 90% 3. When the Eagle Cries - Yes this song is about 9/11. Very strong lyrics. To those that don't like ballads, you skip this track lol. . . . 90% 4. The Reckoning (Don't Tread on Me) - Here we go with a fast song. This song kicks! Yes Tim shows off his Judas Priest vocals here. . . . 95% 5. Greenface - Heavy sort of doomy song. Some of the vocals remind me of effects off of Horror Show. . . . 95% 6. Attila - A fast song with a cool lyrics and such. . . . 90% 7. Red Baron/Blue Max - Cool Song. Very well told story here. Cool Chorus and verses. Its a classic! . . . 95% 8. Hollow Man - This is the only sore spot on this album. The vocals were not good here, and the song is plain boring. Oh well one bad track isn't a big deal. . . . 80% 9. Valley Forge - The guitar reminds me of guitar to the intro of "Into the Void" off of "Demons and Wizards". Anyways I am glad he used that guitar like he did. The vocals are very good here, and its a clear winner of a track. . . . 95% 10. Waterloo - Very good song here. Fast track with interesting lyrics, and a pretty good chorus. . . . 90% 11. When the Eagle Cries (Unplugged) - This version of the song is much better than the normal version. . . . 95% Gettysburg (1863) Disc1. The Devil To Pay (july 1st) - Nothing short of Epic. Very interesting song. The Highlight was when the song "When Johnny comes Marching Home" was used in a bridge. . . . 95% 2. Hold At All Costs (july 2nd) - A decent song. Some pretty cool solos in this track. . . . 90% 3. High Water Mark (july 3rd) - Very interesting Story in this last part of this Epic of Lee planning a way to take the Rebs cross the field straight forward. In the End the plan fails and he takes responsibly for the loss. The countless men lost. Anyways the lyrics rule. . . . 100% If you like this album, I also suggest: Iced Earth- Horror Show, Demons & Wizards- Self-Titled, Iced Earth- Something Wicked this way comes, Blind Guardian- Nightfall Middle Earth, Iced Earth- Dark Saga, and Falconer- Self- Titled.
