Good heavy metal, but sails too close to Metallica

Iced Earth's dark lyrics and music with heavy riffing sounds very good at times, but their sound is a bit too close to Metallica, and they rely on the same basic riffing and song structure for almost every track, even though there are a few bright spots like "A Question Of Heaven", "I Died For You", and "Violate".
