I've never been a huge metal fan, but Iced Earth has a great combination of vocals and instrumentals, the entire CD runs smoothly, meaning that I couldn't find a time in the entire album where I became confused, this is especially important because it tells a story. I like especially how the lyrics don't take a back seat to the speed and volume and little else, that unfortunately some bands have fallen into. I most definitely will be purchasing future Iced Earth albums in the future.
