There are cross-sections of emotions that can be found on this CD. Songs like: "I Died For You", and "A Question Of Heaven", will bring you to tears. Others such as: "Violate", "The Hunter", and "Slave To The Dark", will fill your heart with anger and pity as you hear the epic story of "Spawn" come to life in a very dramatic way. What I think is unique With this band, is their use of Angelic voices and chants. Some of which are computer generated, others are not. However, the Angelic voices in "A Question Of Heaven", Matthew Barlow's younger sister Kate sings them just beautifully (you really have to hear them in order to believe it.) With this masterpiece, Iced Earth shows that they are not the kind of Heavy Metal band with no sense of feeling or melody. They will continue to produce great work in the future with their new singer, and carry the music world into another revolution.
