This is an awesome concept album! It was my first Iced Earth Cd as well. From the opening you are warned of a great album ahead! The Lyrics and music mesh perfectly. The Music creates a very mystique feeling and it makes you be able to kind of imagine what's going on.(Which is probably what the band wanted) The Ending(no spoilers) has an outro which is very eerie and always sends shivers down my spine.
