ICED EARTH is a great band, but as long as they cntinue to be harassed by perpetual line-up changes and by singer Matthew Barlow, they will not go very far. BArlow has a special and unique voice, but simply does not know how the put the lyrics into the music (maybe that is SchafferÂ's blame... heÂ's the main sngwriter). THe vocal department of ICED EARTH, the best American heavy metal band, is disappointing.
