I don't know. This is a great compilation of IE's earlier stuff, but Matt Barlow just doesn't have the right feel for a lot of these tracks. The only DoP track I prefer over the original is "Angels Holocaust", and that's probably only because I heard it before the original. The sad truth is that, while he has a great voice and amazing range, Matt Barlow simply has no imagination whatsoever when it comes to putting the lyrics into the music.

Overall "Days of Pugatory" is relatively superfluous. If you're looking to get introduced to the band, don't start here, listen to the originals first. If you're a seasoned veteran, you'll need this in your collection, but you might be shocked and appalled at the new versions.
