I think that BURNT OFFERINGS does a wonderful job of showcasing the different talents of this band. In almost every song there are changes in tempo, key, and, of course, mood. And when it all comes together, it's some of the best metal ever played. The instruments, vocals, and lyrics are all a pleasure to listen to. A must-have for any Iced Earth fan, and, if you're a metal fan, at least listen to some of the samples.
