There are some great songs on this CD, but not all of them are great. The opening title track "Burnt Offerings" is quite unusual, and not that great. But there are some excellent songs on here, such as Last December, Brainwashed, and the epic Dante's Inferno. This CD has some of the best rythm guitar I have heard in a while. Excellent drumming too.

I admit, I didn't like this album at first. But then I listened to it more, and now I really like it. A must have for any metalhead.
