A band with "Ice" in their name, make an album about fire. It's obviese that at the time they were only thinking about their first and titled album that lives up to the band name.

Personaly this is my favourete Iced Earth album. Everything about this album is just perfect; its an other one of those albums with a short amount of songs, but long enough (52:00). But "The Pearced Spiret" is a track that I keep having to skip. It's a 1:50 acoustic song that drives me crazy. Just like Slow Deep and Hard of Type o Negativ this is an album that comes down to 50:00 time.
I have every other album, and I don't think that any Iced Earth albums compare to this.
And did I forget to mention that red is my favourete color? That is one of the reasons why this album is so great!
Unfortionetely the version I have at home is the remastered one, because it has a different picture and there are no pictures of the band inside the album. Were they even on the origional version?
