That's usually the debate. Some say Manowar was, I always think of Iron Maiden as the 1st power metal band: their at least the Godfather's of the genre, if anything. This was Helloween getting their footing, all songs killer power metal, no favorite picks, their all great songs. If you listen, you can hear where they were headed, Keeper of the seven keys albums right around the corner, and those broke the power metal movement wide open. The sound on this one could have been better and I'm glad to see a remastered copy, so you can really here this killer set of songs. I think it's the heaviest, as far as their earlier stuff. It's a must own for any fan to see how they went from this to the Keeper releases. ***** 5 star classic power metal rating. Cheers from Scraggy's Tomb and anjoy this one!
