Power Metal Back in Business

Helloween sets new standards in their after Hansen era and it seems that this album will make not only their fans happy but the rest of the heavy metal community. If you liked the Dark Ride this albums feels more like the "DAY RIDE". Add to the that the fact that it sounds 10 times better and you have a great album by Helloween with Andi Derris at his best (My opinion about him is very positive after listening to his Pink Creams early records).

All the songs of the album are great and when we say all the songs we mean all the songs. You will keep on thinking WHOA!! this song is even better that the previous one and this comes from a not such a great Helloween fan. It's either that at age of 24 I have forgotten how powermetal sounded like (being bored by it after listening to the same things all these years) and my judgement is not the best one - or - simply that this album is really good.

The songs "liar" and "back against the wall" sounds more like the Dark Ride and even though they are very good they are inferior to the rest of the songs. What I dont understand is how come "liar" sounds fantastic up until the chorus part where Derris messes up!!! It could be a great song if only the chorus sounded more inspired.
"Nothing to Say" is really funny, with a progressive attitute, many changes in its music and you do understand that Helloween must like BOB!!

As far as I can tell I never expected Helloween to do such a good job in the year 2003.
