I can't figure why this album gets so trashed by the community. Though this album departs from the Keeper albums' sound, the song craftsmanship is far better. Kiske really shines on this album, the recording is excellent, and the songs sound much more mature. Sure, there's only one thrashing double bass drum effort, but Helloween has 10 other albums full of that sound (even when this album was first recorded they had 3 albums of continuous double bass drum pounding). Standout songs include The Chance, Mankind, and Kids of the Century. Great album!
