Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part 1 (Average Rating: 8.42 out of 10)
Cheesy now and commercial in its day but still very good (Rated this album with 8 out of 10) Reviewed by

...you will find what is ultimately a very good album. The guitar work is very good - complex, intricate and always varying. The lyrics are little annoying but then most lyrics are. Finding an album with good lyrics really is an added bonus. There are no fillers - even the hidden track "Judas" (available on some CDs between "A Tale That Wasn't Right" and "Future World") is really good. The epicness of the album is well crafted, and Michael Kiske has a very good voice on a par with Bruce Dickinson and Geoff Tate. My only complaint is that they sound very much like...Iron Maiden...except much cheesier with a more European sound.Although Helloween have written some naff songs (see part 2 of this Keeper... duo) they aren't here. Again, if you can see through the cheese then you will be awarded...
