After hearing much praise of this band through fellow Savatage fans, I finally got around to buying what I'm told is their masterpiece. I will say for sure that's it's a great album. Creative and full of power and speed, by men who truly are in complete control over their instruments. The vocalist is ok all the way through has a great range with a lot of emotion, though the strength is obviously the dual guitars. The highlight by far is the epic "Halloween", which rounds this concept album off very nicely as the battle between good, and evil face off. If you like what can best be described as speed and technical metal (more rock though) then buy "Keeper" and you won't regret it. Though not amazing enough to make me buy all their albums it's enough to make me get "Keeper Part 2" which I'm sure is just as brilliant.
